The “Hey Bambini” concept was conceived when I was actually pregnant with our first son Oscar.

I’ve been in Melbourne for 8 years and instantly fell in love with the coffee and restaurant culture. My husband and l are passionate foodies and love to try anything new and different.  Then with falling pregnant l must admit I was worried about still having the freedom to be able to go out for our weekly breakfast and brunches with what was once two of us now becoming three.

I jumped online (as with everyone these days) and did some research into baby friendly cafes and foodie websites and l found nothing was available for me. Every café will say they are “baby friendly” – but are they really?? And do they have a little extra to offer the baby crowd??

That’s when I started my journey to find unique places that cater for us mums and bubs. We’ve found some quirky places with great facilities and entertainment for the kids and I’m only more than happy to share them with you.
